Netduino at the TriNUG
Tonight I gave a presentation on Netduino to the TriNUG user group. They were a great group of people and I discovered that one of the meeting’s organizers took a class from me when I taught in Phoenix! It was pretty awesome to see him and to remember the week’s class; after that class Scott Cate and I drove a car through the desert to Oceanside California. Just goes to show your community stays with you even as you move worlds away, and like minds find one another and all that. Dan drove us, so thanks to him for the drive and the continued education on how things work with the electrical and mechanical stuff and for helping out.

WNC Presentation
I had a great time last night speaking on [what I call] composite web application development in Asheville, NC last night. Thanks a lot to the group for allowing me the opportunity to provide the presentation. Hope you guys got some inspiration from it and that it'll aid in your development efforts in the future! I've zipped up the code and the presentation, so get it here if you're interested.

Unity ASP.NET MVC Presentation at Microsoft Charlotte Campus
Today I gave a short presentation today at Microsoft Charlotte on using Unity and ASP.NET MVC together. I promised to post the code and presentation, so this is the requisite blog post doing that very thing. Thanks a lot to Brian Hitney, Chad Brooks, Glen Gordon, and the Southern Fried Road Show crew for the invitation, it was an honor and a pleasure to be allowed the time to speak.

ALT.NET Charlotte Facebook Group
Not sure what it'll amount to, I hope a good deal of helpfulness, but I've kicked off a Facebook ALT.NET Group for Charlotte, NC and we'd love it if you'd hop in. Not much activity there yet but we'll do our best to get some stuff brewing in the next few days.

Brian Hitney's Enterprise Guild MVC Presentation
Tonight I attended the local Enterprise Guild's ASP.NET MVC presentation by Brian Hitney. I don't know if I've ever given a review of a colleague's presentation (so this might suck) but I feel one's in order. Brian's doing his best in this area for Microsoft to spread this and other information and I want to take a moment to recognize, suggest some critique of, and applaud his efforts.
